Fireside chat with Chad King

Who is Chad?

I’m a husband, father, friend, businessman, networker, problem-solver, technology implementer, sales guy, Jeep driving, whiskey drinking, fun loving guy who’s trying to be a good dude.

Tell us more about your role in Ayoka Systems.

I’m the Vice President. Being a small company, I’m involved in almost all aspects of running the business. But I focus on sales and delivery.

What is the most difficult part of your job? But the most rewarding one?

The most difficult part of my job would be juggling between competing priorities and multiple projects. As for the most rewarding part of my job I’d probably say that is helping business owners solve problems with technology and helping 2nd generation business owners implement ideas they’ve been fostering for years.

Is there anything that you would change about your professional path?

It’s hard to think of anything. My path has led me to where I am.

What’s your key strategy for the development of your company?

To build our clients what they need, but simply what they ask for. To dig deeper, to understand, and to to bring ideas to the table.

What do you think about the next period of time, keeping in mind the pandemic and the new business climate? How will your industry be affected?

We’re focusing on smaller, more targeted engagements (lower risk) with all of our clients, but particularly with new clients.

Please name a few technologies which have the greatest impact on your business.

Cloud computing, low-code platforms, IoT, remote work

What books do you have on your nightstand?

Right now I’m reading Obviously Awesome by April Dunford. It’s about market positioning.
